Over the coming years, HANSA-PARK will gradually build a huge theme world keyed to the topic “HANSEATIC LEAGUE in EUROPE”. Look forward to a one-of-a-kind excursion into European history – a tale from the Middle Ages, a story of trade and shipping, of freedom and adventure, a story that has turned into a myth but is still alive today. The multi-faceted journey into the world of the Hanseatic League will then take you from Medieval Bergen in Norway via Paris, La Rochelle, Lisbon and Bruges all the way to Visby, Novgorod and Venice.

Let yourself be surprised by the extraordinary scope of Hanseatic architectural history and experience, together with the whole family, an entertaining and fascinating combination of edutainment, event gastronomy and historically designed HANSEATIC trading posts and merchant offices [kontors] not to be found anywhere else in Germany.

At our conference centre named “HANSE” a 4x2m large architectural model will illustrate how our world of the HANSEATIC LEAGUE will look like when it’s completed. This scale model will later become part of a large exhibition within the framework of which we will show everything around the HANSEATIC LEAGUE and shipping in general that appeals to and involves all family members.
